IMEC is known for “Putting Together All The Pieces Of The Puzzle”. In fact, our clients gave us our slogan. Our services include diagnostic scheduling throughout New York State. We also provide out of state evaluations. We are very proud to provide this level of service to all of our clients that call us.

We start with our panel of esteemed, credentialed physicians and healthcare professionals that represent a wide array of specialties to accommodate each independent medical evaluation.

Founded in 2006 by owner and president Amy McEathron, the IMEC mission is to provide each client with prompt independent medical evaluation scheduling, accurate record reviews, and coordinated diagnostic procedures.

All services involved with your referral are competitively priced, and our quality assurance program ensures every client is given accurate information pertaining to each independent medical evaluation.

Amy McEathron

Owner & President

Amy has been involved in the IME world since 1990. Established IMEC in 2006 and has grown IMEC to be a certified Woman Owned Business. Amy is married to her husband Lyle and has one son Andrew and stepson Phillip. She has 1 grandson, 1 step grandson and 1 step granddaughter. Amy is very involved in our local community. She is involved in the American Legion Auxiliary and loves to fundraise for our Veterans. She loves to spend time at her camp, visiting with family and friends. In the summer loves to be on the St. Lawrence River on her boat. She loves to go to Casinos and take cruises. Amy loves being called Boss Lady from her staff.

Corina Houppert

Operations Manager

Corina joined the IMEC team in February of 2021. She has almost 22 years of accounting and management experience. She has taken over the position of Operations Manager that IMEC’s first retiree, Audrey, had left back in June of 2022. When she is not working at IMEC, you may find her busy as a server at Jeb’s Restaurant in Lowville. She is the mother of two awesome children and in her free time she enjoys spending it with her family camping and traveling.

Tina Renzi joined the IMEC team in March of 2015. She is a native of Carthage and brings her 20 years of customer service. She always has a smile on her face and you can hear it when she answers the phone. She enjoys spending time with family going camping and watching NASCAR. April Pike

Senior Customer service Representative & Physician Recruiter

April Pike has been with IMEC since its conception in 2006. She brings with her 3
previous years of experience in the Independent Medical Evaluation industry. She has watched IMEC grow to where it is now! April is in charge of the IME scheduling and physician recruiting. She updates the credentials of the current physicians and brings new doctors on board. April builds and creates the monthly block time calendar and ensures ample coverage for our clients across our great state of New York and, as needed, throughout the country. April also helps where needed with projects, etc. Her outside interests include spending time with her family, gardening, hobby farming (chickens, rabbits, and goats), attending NASCAR (at Charlotte Motor Speedway),
thrifting and hiking. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of
the American Legion Auxiliary. She moved to North Carolina during the pandemic and recently bought her forever home there! In it she has a ‘home office’ where she is still able to work for IMEC remotely.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Not sure, but I went to college to be a chef. After many years of cooking, I switch to being an office worker via our awesome leader, Amy Mceathron. This was over 20 years ago!

Deb Kerschner joined IMEC in March of 2023 as a Physician Recruiter Assistant. She’s had many years of IME experience managing her husband’s chiropractic practice. In her free time she loves spending time with her four grandchildren, hiking & running.

Lynne Intorcia joined IMEC in October 2020. A native of Carthage bringing 37 years of friendly hometown customer service from a longtime local business. Lynne has also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary for 45 years. Lynne is currently serving as Secretary of the Carthage Fire Department Auxiliary. Kimberly Hart

Kim joined our IMEC family in September of 2019 as one of our Records Typist and now has moved over to our medical records department as a Coordinator. She brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and truly enjoys what she does. Kim enjoys spending time with her family, exploring outdoors during the summer months, and in the winter months you can usually find her with her nose stuck in a book or in the kitchen baking anything that has sugar in it.

Trish Farrell joined the IMEC family in September of 2020. She has 16 years of customer service and management experience. She is currently enrolled at Jefferson Community College for a degree in accounting. She is from the area and spends her free time with her family.

Ashton Houppert

Ashton joined IMEC in late December of 2022. She grew up in Lowville, NY, where she
graduated from Lowville Academy Central School with her Advanced Regents Diploma
in 2019. She is currently a senior at Mercyhurst University getting her bachelor degree
in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. After getting her bachelor degree, she
will be getting her Master’s in Special Education, and specializing in Autism. She enjoys
spending time with family, being active and playing sports.

Additionally, she is currently taking online courses at Jefferson Community College to further her studies in the medical field to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have been a transcriptionist with IMEC since 2009 when working for a former neurosurgeon and have just kept doing it. I spent 13 years serving my country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed every minute of it. I am a very patriotic person and would never let anyone take that away from me. My new goal in life is applying for Law School at Syracuse University. Free time is spent reading, playing bingo, and plying on my iPad. Worked all my life so play time is fun for me – until I get into Law School, of course.

She is from Cape Cod having moved to New York in 1988 when her husband was stationed at Ft Drum for the US Air Force. They retired here in 2002. They have 2 daughters and one grandson. Diana Boyle

Quality Assurance Specialist

Diana joined the IMEC team in January of 2019 bringing with her over 16 years of experience in the Independent Medical Evaluation industry. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware. After graduating, she worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Barnabas Medical Center in their Neonatal Intensive Care Units caring for newborns and premature infants before settling down to raise a family. She went on to work as a field case manager for several years and then began working in the IME industry. Over the past 16 years, she has gained a wealth of knowledge with particular emphasis in New York Workers’ Compensation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and golf.

Renee joined us in August of 2020. She has over 18 years of experience within the IME Industry. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Organizational Psychology. She has four grown children, three granddaughters and three foster daughters. In her free time, she loves to read and write. She has published one book and is working on a second book.

Laura Tyler

Laura joined the IMEC Team in November of 2019. She comes from many years of transcription experience within the IME industry, changing career paths approximately 7 years ago by moving into the fun and exciting world of Quality Assurance, with specialization in the New York jurisdiction. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching sports (Go Birds!), reading and traveling.

Kayla Mileusnich

Kayla joined the IMEC team in August of 2019. She brings seven years of experience in both Worker’s Compensation and No-Fault IMEs for New York and several other jurisdictions. Her prior experience includes Dental assistant and office manager, clinic coordinator in Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy offices, both pediatric and adult, Administrative Assistant in other office settings and retail management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling to South Dakota to spend time with family. She is also a life member of the Herbertsville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in Brick, NJ.

Kerry has been working in the medical field for about 30 years for many local hospitals both as a transcriptionist and scribe. She has spent the last 2-1/2 years working as the office manager for Dr. Perrier in Ogdensburg. She enjoys spending time with her best friend, her sisters, and her parents traveling and visiting casinos. She also loves to fish, bowling, boating, hanging around the pool, campfires, and catching a scary movie here and there. Her hobbies are reading and when she has the time she likes to crochet blankets for herself and friends.

Heather joined the IMEC family in June of 2019. She has been in the medical field for over 10 years and has over five years of experience with working with New York Workmen’s Compensation; especially assisting with the QA team. I’m a mom of one amazing daughter, Katie. I’m also a GiGi of two awesome grandsons, Xavier (11) and Styles (7), as well as a bonus granddaughter, Harper (11). They’re my world. I love music and I’m a big-time rocker chick. I enjoy hairbands, metal, rock, and music from the 80s and 90s. I’m an old-school country girl who loves fishing, demolition derbies, lawn mower races, mud bogs, concerts, and BBQs (all year long, even in the snow, lol). I also love anything tie-dyed, music notes, sunflowers, collecting magnets, sunglasses, scary movies, and documentaries. I’m a huge animal lover and can see right into their sweet souls. Debbie joined IMEC several years ago, she loves to volunteer her time at IMEC. She has worked at Champion International/St. Regis Champion for over 20 years. She then worked at MWR for Ft. Drum for almost 15 years. She is one of 7 children born and raised in Carthage, NY. She loves to watch sports, volunteer and helping others. She is a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Unit 789/Carthage. Now her time is spent going camping and spending time with her friends and family.

Audrey Reynolds

RETIRED – Operations Manager / Bookkeeper

Audrey Reynolds joined IMEC in 2010 with a diversified background that includes not
only seven years of experience as a New York State Workers’ Compensation claims
adjuster, but she also has business management skills. Audrey has successfully worked
in all of the positions at IMEC and climbed her way up the IMEC ladder very quickly.
Audrey’s position involved Quality Assurance and Book Keeping. Audrey’s
outside interests include kayaking, camping, hiking, and painting nature.
