About Us

IMEC is known for “Putting Together All The Pieces Of The Puzzle”. In
fact, our clients gave us our slogan. Our services include diagnostic
scheduling throughout New York State. We also provide out of state
evaluations. We are very proud to provide this level of service to all of
our clients that call us.

We start with our panel of esteemed, credentialed physicians and
healthcare professionals that represent a wide array of specialties to
accommodate each independent medical evaluation.

Founded in 2006 by owner and president Amy McEathron, the IMEC
mission is to provide each client with prompt independent medical
evaluation scheduling, accurate record reviews, and coordinated
diagnostic procedures.

All services involved with your referral are competitively priced, and our
quality assurance program ensures every client is given accurate
information pertaining to each independent medical evaluation.

Amy McEathron

Owner & President

Amy McEathron is the hands-on owner of IMEC. From quality review to records preparation, she does it all. Amy personally handles all fee negotiations with physicians to get you the best fee possible. Amy has more than 20 years of experience in the independent medical evaluation industry. Amy works directly with every client to ensure that every examination meets IMEC’s standards and exceeds theirs. Amy’s outside interests include the American Legion Auxiliary, motorcycling, and spending time with friends and family. A native of New Jersey, Amy is a long-time resident of Carthage and is very proud to call Carthage and New York State home.

Audrey Reynolds

Operations Manager/Bookkeeper

Audrey Reynolds joined IMEC in 2010 with a diversified background that includes not only seven years of experience as a New York State Workers’ Compensation claims adjuster, but she also has business management skills. Audrey has successfully worked in all of the positions at IMEC and climbed her way up the IMEC ladder very quickly. Audrey’s current position involves Quality Assurance and Book Keeping. Audrey’s outside interests include kayaking, camping, hiking, and painting nature.

April Pike

Senior CSR and Physician Recruiter

April Pike has been with IMEC since 2006. She brings with her 3 previous years of experience in the Independent Medical Evaluation industry. She has watched IMEC grow to where it is now! April is in charge of the IME scheduling and deposition coordinating. She also does the physician recruiting; updating the credentials of the current physicians and bringing new doctors on board. April builds and creates the monthly block time calendar and ensures ample coverage for our clients across our great state of New York and, as needed, throughout the country. Her outside interests include spending time with her family. She is an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Tina Renzi

Customer Service Representative

Tina Renzi joined the IMEC team in March of 2015. She is a native of Carthage and brings her 20 years of customer service. She always has a smile on her face and you can hear it when she answers the phone. She enjoys spending time with family going camping and watching NASCAR. Call her to schedule your next IME.

Quality Assurance

Ann Gibbens

Ann joined IMEC in 2016 with a diversified background in the medical field. She has coding, billing and appeal experience.She has managed all insurance billing departments as well as customer service. She has her education in accounting. She is from Cape Cod having moved to New York in 1988 when her husband was stationed at Ft Drum for the US Air Force. They retired here in 2002. They have 2 daughters. Ann's outside interests include the American Legion Auxiliary, camping, cooking, crafting and family time.

Jessica Gazzillo

Jessica joined the IMEC family in September 2018. She brings to the team 10 years of experience in the medical field. She is a native of New Jersey, where she received her certification in medical coding and billing. After moving to Upstate NY in 2008, she took some time off to start a family. She now has 2 beautiful children. She returned to working full time for IMEC in our Quality Assurance department, where she enjoys working hard to ensure the quality of our IME reports.

Diana Boyle

QA Specialist

Diana recently joined the IMEC team in January of 2019 bringing with her over 16 years of experience in the Independent Medical Evaluation industry. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware. After graduating, she worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Barnabas Medical Center in their Neonatal Intensive Care Units caring for newborns and premature infants before settling down to raise a family. She went on to work as a field case manager for several years and then began working in the IME industry which allowed her the needed flexibility to raise her 3 children, including much travel for hockey and soccer! Over the past 16 years, she has gained a wealth of knowledge in the IME industry with particular emphasis in New York Worker’s Compensation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching sports, especially hockey.

Leslie Huddy

Quality Review Specialist

Leslie has a diverse employment background with over 10 years of experience in management, customer service, public relations, and administrative skills. She is a 2005 graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising & Public Relations. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, watching football (Go Steelers!) and spending time with her two children.

Christy Taylor

Medical Records Coordinator

Christy joined IMEC in April of 2016. She brings many years in business and customers service to our team. She plays the role of our in house go to IT girl. Her interests include, camping, boating, four-wheeling and spending time with her 2 children and husband.

Andi Kloster

Medical Records Assistant

Andi joined the IMEC team in August of 2018. She brings along customer service experience as one of our Medical Records Coordinators. She attended classes at Jefferson Community College to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. She is currently attending classes to obtain her Business degree to further her career here at IMEC. She is presently a member of the Carthage Area Hospital Foundations Board. Her hobbies involve spending time with family, friends, her boyfriend, and being outside in the nice weather!


Kelly Kennedy


Kelly has been a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years and joined IMEC in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating, campfires and the pool in summertime. Her favorite hobby is watching her daughter play sports in school.

Deb Swem

Debbie joined IMEC several years ago, she loves to volunteer her time at IMEC. She has worked at Champion International/St. Regis Champion for over 20 years. She then worked at MWR for Ft. Drum for almost 15 years. She is one of 7 children born and raised in Carthage, NY. She loves to watch sports, volunteer and helping others. She is a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Unit 789/Carthage. Now her time is spent going camping and spending time with her friends and family.

Michael Smith

Michael has been with IMEC since 2014 when he was recruited to build the industry software that IMEC continues to use on a day-to-day basis. With over 13 years of professional IT experience, he provides support to the business and staff of IMEC. Michael enjoys spending time with his family, boating and everything that summertime weather brings.
